this is a unfortunate reality that happens far too much. police officers should have two years of training on 28 weeks. and they also should have to spend at least a year strictly for helping the homeless or at least volunteer in a shelter for 2 years. then I believe officers would be more inclined to understand they are there to help the citizens rather than rule over them
I think it's fair to point out that cops and correctional officers are not the same thing and do not carry the same power. correctional officers only have power inside of the the correctional facility they work in they don't have power once they hit the street and most police officers do not treat correctional officers as if they are police officers on the street, they treat them just like regular citizens.
sue the hell out of each individual one don't do the state because then they'll just give her a different job somewhere else where if you see them personally they lose their right to work for the government. and you can take everything they own

a joke justice system is why each generation gets more confident acting wild in public. communities stopped working together and started standing around waiting for the cops out of fear of getting in more trouble defending yourself then you would for being the attacker. the same police we pay to keep the peace are the exact ones raising the crime rate to keep their job positions secure. right after we threatened to defund the police they started preventing people from stopping or interfering with any type of crime. criminals got excited and citizens became scared. we need to take back the boss position because nothing runs right with the employees thinking their in charge.
