do most ppl not understand how cows are impregnated?? or understand that dairy cows have to be constantly impregnated and then have her calf taken away in order to constantly produce milk?? over and over again until the end of her life. dairy cows live in a state of perpetual slavery for our selfish benefit. and I say that as a meat eater. nobody deserves to eat meat and drink milk unless they are capable of understanding the ENTIRE PROCESS from start to finish. I raised my oldest telling her where everything on her plate came from, she was vegetarian by the time she was in 10th grade. my youngest will be taught the same. I love venison but personally can't handle shooting a deer, so I guess I'm a hypocrite. every type of meat we eat was once a fluffy cute baby that we would've also felt compelled to save. farming is sad but necessary.
