ypu should be proud because most kids won't need this type of calculator because they're too dumb to take calculus or trigonometry

It's because the teacher is going to teach the whole class trigonometry, statistics, and other cool shit on that calculator, and you won't understand it trying to follow along on your phone or any other device.

Yes, that type of calculator is required. I remember having to buy it for three kids because they all needed them throughout high school and college, so there was no option to pass it down. Very expensive. But I think you can download an app now that works, but many phones aren't allowed to be used in class.

That's crazy. The school should purchase them and assign them for the year and have them returned for the incoming classes.

avator

The school system should be paying for that since it's MANDATORY 😂😂😂😂😂

I remember having to buy that stupid calculator. Really hurt as a single mom. The really messed up part is I think they only needed it for one extra button, at the time.

Things are changing now. Now they are saying kids are able to access any and all resources to help them progress through school. They can look answers up. It’s fully open book tests, calculators or any type of assistance they can find they can use.

Look for used ones or ask older students/parents. That is what we did. I think that I paid $25 for it used and then passed it on after that to another family needing one.

I never understood why graphing calculated were so expensive, they kind of became obsolete once the kids got computers in schools, I remember mine was like $80 but I can’t believe they’ve got up in price, I used to use it to cheat on chemistry tests because it had the periodic table and all the elements logged into it
