you'd obviously would have heard if porcupines could do this but yall want to know something I find fascinating.... tarantulas can throw or shoot their butt hairs and irritates your skin, eyes and breathing and also some hiss but its not from the mouth but those same hairs when they rub them together. had a big brown texas tarantula in our garage when I was a kid and it did all that stuff haha I was like there is no way it just hissed but it did😅😂. My dad killed it but now thinking back and not so scared of em... i wish we'd just leave it alone or moved it elsewhere

Relatives dog saw a porcupine , as they where taking a nature walk. Got too close and yes they fired off quickly and deadly! poor doggy had quills all in his face! Had to be taken immediately to the vet get them removed! smh
