the dog doesn't seem to be aggressive. he's not barking or nothing 🤔 She must just be afraid of dogs, and definitely chose the wrong line of work.

I didn't find this amusing at all. That poor delivery person was visibly scared out of her mind of that dog who might have been friendly, but how was she supposed to know that?

I had a husky like this. the ups guy cried when he passed. dog greeted him calmly when he came, sat n waited to be petted, got his treat, n got a kiss. for several years they were buds. driver knocked after not seeing him for weeks. sat down n cried when we told him wolf was gone.

I think their training needs to include how to recognize a friendly dog or not so friendly dog. you can tell almost immediately what a dog's intentions are. but if they don't know what to look for. they're scared when they don't need to be.
i don't blame her. people can say oh hes friendly all they want but some people do not care and are afraid no matter what.

The delivery person acted on concern for her own safety. Dogs owners will say, oh he doesn't bite, right he doesn't bite you! Mailmen have been bitten many times by 'friendly' dogs. Am owner can choose. You can let your dog run free and you can pick up your mail at the post office or you can tie him up so he doesn't scare or bite delivery drivers. We can't blame people for being afraid of a loose dog! The responsibility is directly on the dog owner

I have not applied for delivery positions because of my fear of some dogs. As a child I had some scary encounters while walking or riding bikes in my neighborhood. I lam a animal lover and I would never mace a dog but I understand how she feels. Sometimes we are forced to accept job positions because of our personal situations. Hopefully she can change her position in the near future.
Keep your dog secured. People shouldn’t have to climb over railings. Keep your damn dog secured!!!

I had a dog a lab chow and she had a little aggression in her. She didn't like little kids screaming and running and she tried to nip a little boy. We moved and had a fenced in yard where she could run loose. I told my kids not to bring any small kids into the back yard because if she bit someone she may have to be put down. One of the kids friends brought some little kids into the yard and she chased one of them and tried to nip him. My daughter was crying so hard because she remembered what I said. Fortunately I Was able to talk to the mother and she didn't call the police. I can't blame the little kid because I'm responsible for the behavior of my dog!
It's not amusing, a dog off the leash can be a problem, you never know what they will do. I thought the same thing until one day a dog jumped the gate and attacked my son while he was riding his scooter and he mauled my child..so I don't think this is funny at all
Dogs have canine teeth, they do bite and it hurts, plus if a dog bites you. You have to go thru a series of shots and test..its not a fun situation or funny
