Sorry folks, but ginseng is NOT a fungi nor fungus.
Yarsagumba -a parasitic organism that grows when the fungus infects and mummifies the larva of a ghost moth. It is highly prized in traditional medicine, particularly in China, for its perceived medicinal properties and is often referred to as "Himalayan Viagra". Due to high demand and limited supply, Yarsagumba is extremely valuable, often fetching prices higher than its weight in gold. Harvesting the fungus is a difficult process, typically involving villagers trekking to high altitudes (around 5000 meters) during a short season.

these are not truffles, its a mushroom but not the truffle version your thinking of. truffles look like a poop all black and round usually bumpy but round, very expensive. I believe this is a mushroom for medicine I believe but can be wrong about medicinal.

Ginseng has two leaves for the first YEAR of its life. I used to weed the neighbor's garden in Wisconsin when I was a teenager. Even the accidental pot plant had to be eradicated!
