thats not flush it wont pass code
Now you’ve bent the rafter board and the drywall is not going to fit. Very poor carpentry.
smart people would have built another rafter.
Over nailing destroyed the integrity of the Material to hold! Idiots!
" Close Enough Construction, Goofy speaking ". 😆
I would have hooked a chain onto the truck bumper and pulled that bad boy into place. 🤔🙄 😆
boot carpenters
The sheet rockers are going to just love it.
That’s some sloppy craftsmanship.
I'm sorry, but you just bent the alignment of that truss way out. Shabby work.
Y’all got big problems
There sure is a lot of dumb people on here, their doing it right their splitting the 2x4 which in turn is putting the rafter in place , basically they're putting in the back bone and for the few comments about the drywall not lining up, that's a pole barn they're not going to put drywall on the ceiling it would just sag over time if anything they will put osb sheeting.
I think the very end of the board needs another dozen nails in it.
Where I come from we call that half assed
Now, when the building expands and contracts, you’re more risk of breaking the board
Sloppy
see the super bend behind someone needs string a center line find out what fup.
this is the quality work you get from immigrants
If you wanted things straight, you shouldn't have given him a 2x4 and a hammer. You should have given him a credit card and a mirror instead.
that's putting unnecessary stress on the wood. if they measured it right. this wouldn't happen
for all the non carpenters out there, trusses usually come tweeked. the strapping they are adding to the bottom are probably cut to lay out length and are butting a straight, strung wall, hence they are actually straightening the bottom of the truss. And to the guy that said drywall won't work., as long as the strapping is on lay out you have 3 1/2" to break on. People should understand what's happening before commentating.
must not be able to read a mechanical tape measure. Bet he used a digital measuring device
well that looked like shit. id be pissed about that myself
If It DON’T Fit,……….Force It!! 🙄
well someone cut them all short or they set the truss wrong 🤔and they are making it more work then they need
AH ... that good ole quality illegal mexi house butchers 🤪🤣😎🇺🇲💪
At least he put four nails in it to make sure the rafter didn't pull loose!
Looks good and straight. Well done 😆😆😆😆
wow ... that's crappy work... it's called measure twice, cut once
the trust bender
uhm.. the board is not "stretching".. you're just bending the rafter beam. That's why we measure twice, cut once..
that is a terrible job look at the truss omg !!!
amateur
Useless
Ahhh
reading the comments I realized no one with any Carpenter experience has commented..... as a carpenter of over 25 years the dumb thing that I see is two people working one piece of wood..... I'll bet they use the outhouse together too .
seems safe😳
When the boss says this job better be done today!!
Why don’t you get someone that can measure
Glad you give the PSA in your videos to not hire you! 😆
Was the board cut short or did the guy running the tape when they put the rafters up wrong? Either way someone fucked up.
Your fired !!
I remember when I was 11yo spending 20min looking for the board stretcher, all my uncles thought it was hilarious
whoever is using the nail gun is a Rookie! you dont shoot 4 nails at the end of a 2x4 it splits it and actually weakens the wood 2 nails is best in that situation!
That is "not" how you do it..
you have got to be kidding.😲
ya let's put a Giant Bow in our frame instead of doing it correctly.
Now it’s bowed
smh, they call themselves carpenters.
WTH🤬
