Iguanas don't have suction cups on their feet. They have claws. That's a fact. Have you ever handled one?

Let them be.. keep them there they are bugs eating .. keeps the bugs out of tree to help you no need for spraying bug spray that god natural bug repellent. The iguanas are awesome, but keep your pets inside or go outside with your pets and supervise them to go potty and poop. Never let your pets outside alone bad things happen.

I’m certain the tree was there before you and if there really 50 like you claim then they were there before you they live along time and are typically territorial , they don’t hurt anything

I see both sides of the issue. animals do need habitat but if they're destroying things they need to be destroyed. I think the sheet metal /roof flashing is a good idea, but I think you're going to have to go one strip higher? please keep us in the loop and let me know. And as far as the tree hugger and is complaining that the animals need habitat. I hope you never have to deal with ground squirrels digging up underneath the foundations getting into your crawl space and chewing holes into your pipes. My personal house I've had to get under there three times in 5 years to repair leaky pipes because the rodents have chewed holes in the PEX pipe. 😡😡😡😡😡😡 My opinion is people need to put their foot in someone else's shoe before they place ugly emojis these emojis are for you!

Iguanas might be basically harmless, but they're a huge nuisance, and they're everywhere down in Florida. They're even higher and contractors to get rid of them. One way or another.

I used flashing around a tree one time when I had a squirrel problem. The flashing really worked well! ( since there weren't any other trees around).

there is a strong definite libe between man n animal. determine which is you. that is why we manage n they (animals) adapt to the conditions. not we adapt to their conditions. we accept them as pets or food.

I just heard the other day that iguanas can grow quite large like more than 2 feet and will bite. They should be allowed to get the iguanas out of their tree.

question is this the only tree that they are climbing in in your yard and are there other trees in the surrounding area that are the same as the one that is in you're yard and how many other neighbors are having the same problem? something or some reason is bringing them to this exact tree !

avator

After reading the comments, atleast this guy is handling the problem humanely. Maybe there is a type of paint that adheres to clean aluminum to camouflage the ugliness. Poisons also kill everything else, pets, birds etc..

get a pellet gun or bow n arrow. you'll be an expert in no time. plus they eat them also.🙂
