His car is his personal property, without reason the confiscated item was illegally removed. Some states require your" Arm" be visible; Revving your car doesn't warrant search and seizure . The officers are HATERS, THEY JELLY BELLIES...

I'm not sure of the state this is in but in most states if you don't have a concealed carry permit, the firearm must be in plain sight while in the vehicle...

I don't know the state but I'm curious are weapons allowed to be loaded sitting on your passenger seat. I don't know if there's a difference between a pistol or rifle. I'm not a gun owner so I'm asking

open carry he's allowed to carry it on his front seat.. you reaching in his vehicle violated his fifth amendment right.. he did not consent to any search for seizures.. I hope this kid knew his rights.. be taking those two officers to court along with them getting fired and getting a small settlement

having a firearm in your vehicle is not a crime, but a second amendment right?. they had no right to walk up there and pick that up out of his car.

It is not illegal to carry a gun in your car, unless you are a felon.

It depends on what state you’re in. But if the state allows, you to have an open carry, then cops cannot just grab through your window. Anything they want. It’s a violation of their fourth amendment. And second amendment.

Well he actually had it in the right spot. On the seat ( if there is concealed carry laws.) crazy that if he had it tucked and got pulled over and told then he’d still get a citation. But if it’s sitting in visible view, they’ll just run his identity make sure he can have it, and give it back. Unless it was fully auto. 🤷🏽‍♂️
