Agree with some of the previous comments. Kicking team offside, dead ball foul. Even if that wasn’t called (which it should have been), the kicking team cannot advance the kick.

After the ball has traveled 10yds the kicking team can recover AND advance the ball. For instance an “ onside kick “. Offsides is a completely different story. And yes the last move was unnecessary but “Hey”!!
