for someone that knows how to build structures with other materials beside toothpicks and wallboard, that is one structure that will last for centuries except for a bombing or massive earthquake...... if I lived in the Midwest or any place that is tornado or hurricane prone, that is what I would build, and I know how......
They also have floating decks like this in apartment buildings where they run the floor Joyce all the way back into the building and build on the overhang
