No compassion for elderly. 😢

I deliver mail and I always look out for my elderly customers, because you never know when you might be in that same predicament. You'll never get your blessings that way.

I have had UPS drivers set inside my gate and when I walked out to get it, he said its heavy let me carry to your door for you. That was really nice of him to do so. Fedex will toss it over my fence and go.

That's messed up and I can't believe he refused to help. I would have never refused to help even if my job said I couldn't. I guess I'll be losing the job or whatever the consequences will be?!

Fed Ex says it all! Their drivers are contractors not employees! He was extremely inconsiderate and sucks as a person! If he was worried about liability, he should have gotten help for the senior citizen! like an ambulance 🥺

Some people are just rude and uncaring to others. One day, that driver will be an old man. Hopefully, he will have someone to help him when he needs it.

He didn't put the packages on the porch not alone help him. He a true ass.

Ok so I understand that the driver would lose his job if he "helped" physically, but what's preventing him from having compassion enough to just simply call 911 for Help?! He could have just let the poor man know it's against his JOB'S rules to help, but that he would call for help. 🤔🙏💕

Look at all the people encouraging this person to break rules. And then if something happens, the same people would then say he shouldn't have broken the rules. Delivery drivers deliver packages to the address, they are not customer service. Y'all expect help with heavy packages, stacked neat packages at your door, people out running your dogs to deliver your packages. Expecting way too much from people who aren't even allowed to ring the bell.

Then call EMS to get him help! If you can’t help because of work policies or because of your own reasons, then at least get the person help! And don’t leave until help arrives! Why are the packages so far from the porch or door? What if that was the driver’s mom/dad would he/she not want someone to help…in some way!!? My Lord what is wrong with ppl? That man was left in a vulnerable position!!

That UPS Driver could’ve helped that elderly man. I know if that was a mail carrier they would’ve helped him. What a shame.

really is all the money I've seen Amazon people ended up eating with people sliding on slides with people helping them in the house shoveling the driveway okay is it so what excuse does this guy have and what excuse do y'all have for him

avator
Sneaky Snake 🐍
San Diego, CA · 16 days ago

Company liability reasons, if he had helped that man and it went sideways causing injury or death to him that company could be sued by the family, and the driver is immediately fired, So blame the ways of the world for that, it's VERY high risk these days to try and help anyone, sad but true 😳

avator
Stephen R. Zoretic
Fredericksburg, VA · 13 days ago

When I worked at Amazon, you wouldn’t be allowed to do anything like that. But not even as a delivery driver just as a person, I’m gonna help that 90-year-old guy up I don’t care what my job is. That’s the only appropriate thing to do.
