when is a human life worth less than a ticket?
its just amazing how you can blame the police, let's look at this for a moment 1- man breaks the law 2- man runs from the law 3- the law tries to catch the man for breaking the law 4- man wrecks from running from the law, after breaking the law 5- man dies from breaking the law and running away from the law when he should have just not broke the law or just stopped 6- The law officer is doing his job trying to catch the man that broke the law. Now help me understand why the law should have let him go free after he broke the law, he chose to break the law, run from police drive fast and had a wreck how again is it the law enforcement officers fault or why should the officer let him go just because he is on a motorcycle. that is the stupidest thing I have heard of so far today.
Let's talk about the real problem.Cops should not be able to do high speed chases because it puts the whole public in jeopardy.
My exhusband would NEVER race with me in any vehicle, till he did. 140 mph on impact with a telephone pole that came thru the passenger door and window. The seat was obliterated, according to either Dodge or Allstate insurance company, both of whom investigated it heavily. They could not find a two inch piece of thread that belonged to it, in the truck or at the scene. My jaw landed on my chest and has actually not stopped hurting ever since, 41 years later. It altered my entire life. We see a solo rider on a bike acting foolishly and lost his life as a result sadly. What we don't see is the potential for far, far, far worse in his future, killing or maming for life, others that clearly don't deserve it, affecting far more people, families and pets too. A high speed speeder, puts lives at risk every time, instead of just their own. If you like racing, that's cool just take it to the race tracks or get together with others and build yourselves your own. We share the roads...RIP dude
maybe shoulda just let him go. coulda prevented such a bad end.

It’s a miracle I survived my motorcycle days. I once inherited money after my state trooper brother died. Got the biggest baddest most expensive motorcycle. I could find brand new. Glad I finally got smart and sold it.

“Call off the chase” — they usually do. The biker just doesn’t know it. They’re still flying on adrenaline, thinking they’re being chased. Most of these crashes happen after cops back off. The danger isn’t the chase — it’s the choice to run.

this one thing I hate about these damn car chases ... hell yes the rider is wrong and deserves what ever but these cops chase these guys knowing they not gonna give up and when the cops plows into someone they blame it on who ever they are chasing and that wrong they made the decision to chase that person into a congested aria... believe me I feel the rider should get what ever but the cop they know the possibility of that jerk running and what harm chasing him / her can cause if they or the cop hit someone... thats why some arias made it illeagal for cops to chase into a congested aria so the likely hood of the public getting hurt / killed or property damage cause by them chasing is lessened... I do not support cop chasing unless it's where the public won't be harmed.. the one running that's on them and the cop.. the cop does hold responsibility in the chase regardless if they blame it on the assailant
