I do dress like this alot, not all the time ,but I wear bow ties and sweater vests over my button downs as well, and a nice dress shoe i prefer penny loafers.. my wife likes how I dress, im all tatted out as well , she calls me an elegant gangsta 😆😆 but I dress for success and am a blue collar worker trying to get a business started and off the ground..

You ever notice old houses just had small closets?men just had a couple of shirts,a suit a hat and a vest and hopefully dress shoes,the wife worked all day darning socks, sewing up clothes and washing them. Very few fat people,black, brown white they made it work.People were more humble and appreciated what they had🤔.

as a little boy in the 1960's I remember my grandpa and his friends hanging out on main street dressed like this and the women took pride in dressing themselves elegantly as well. not the crap you see today with butts and boobs and excess flab hanging out of every crevice

the 40s and the 50s were great eras for fashion for both men and women. men in their suits and hats and women in whatever the occasion called for; gardening, shopping, housework or an evening out. There was a look for every occasion.
people have gotten too sloppy when they're in public. some people wear their pajamas grocery shopping. the other day my bf and I went to breakfast and a young couple sat in the booth across from us and she only had on a short nightgown and underwear. have some dignity and respect for yourself !!!!
