people go around with a sawzawl stealing them all the time to scrap and make money. I had a Nissan truck that the catalytic converter overheated on so I just let it cool down then removed it and took a pry bar hollowed it out and I never had any more problems with it
is this why people go under other people's cars and steal the catalytic converters from under your vehicle
