Actually, on July 30, 1965, the government devised a strategy to discriminate against people of color by segregating them. They informed mothers that they were ineligible for Medicaid if they resided with their fathers. Since most fathers could not afford the medical expenses, they were compelled to enroll in medicaid, which put the father’s on child support. Now, the government pretends to be oblivious to the origins of this system. I’m certain that no one is arbitrarily placing individuals on child support who are willing to share parental responsibilities equally. Additionally, women of color are not the only individuals who occasionally require assistance when needed, and most of us have never received it. Please stop!

White people are the largest population in our country. White women make up nearly 40 percent of welfare recipients. Black women make up a little over 20 percent. The 1965 civil rights act moved many Black peoples out of poverty. For instance my family my father worked hard as an employee at a local hospital and my mother was a stay home mother. My father became critical ill unable to work that job didn’t have a retirement pension didn’t offer short term or long term disability severance pay nothing but my father’s last pay check. The home we were buying my parents lost. It took years before we were able to receive social security benefits. My father after surgery right side of his body was partially paralyzed he couldn’t speak our names yet he was denied over and over again for social

If you are on some kind of assistance, you have to have requirements of what they need to do to stay on the Assistance and it needs to have a time limit that tells them they have this amount of time to get their shit together otherwise there will be consequences!
