HOT

this guy doesn't have any visible fire fighting equipment..hose, shovel, friends to help contain this fire...maybe he's NOT TRYING to set the forest aflame, but he's ill prepared to control it.

Throwing flammables into an already lit fire is so dangerous. Too many end up scared for life, not to mention the excruciating pain that comes with it.

I once smelled something like electrical wires burning outside one evening. It became thicker. I called our local fire department and they came out. The fire chief told me that a neighbor just down the street was burning junk, including electrical equipment, in a 50 gallon drum. He showed me how it was registering and that's how they found where the fire originated. I don't know if they were fined or even if they knew or didn't know it was illegal to burn that, but the fire chief explained it to them. What prompted me to call the FD was not just the smell and smoke, but little particles "snowing". The smell was bad. I didn't want them to get in trouble. I just wanted to know what was going on so that our subdivision didn't all go afire.

just for safety put the liquid in a plastic bottle container and let the fire melt the plastic the liquid will come out and the fire would continue to flame

Do not ever throw flammable liquid at a fire. It’s a great way to get engulfed in flames.

This individual has the brains of pond scum. What he is doing is very, very dangerous. I don’t know what that liquid he is using, but every drip and drop? The fire will find it. My ex husband had a friend all through school that had been burned over 2/3 of his body. He, his brother and sister were playing with the fire. He didn’t get his “cup” empty.. This was the early ‘80’s. He spent at least a month at Parkland Hospital’s burn center. The early fall of 1991, he committed suicide. They found him behind a Baptist church with a note in his pocket. Basically said he couldn’t stand the stares, the pointing, the kids freaking out, couldn’t find a woman to accept him as he was. It was really sad.

hell yes that's how to get a fire going the right way. I love using old motor oil to burn with the most especially if it pisses off some poobutt environmentalists

He is wasting alot of usable firewood. It would be better if he just let people come and get what they want from the pile. In doing that he is helping reduce waste and making the pile smaller and reducing the labor. 🤔👍

Not a good idea to use used motor oil to burn trees and yard waste, seeing that it's toxic when it's burned! Also, it's illegal in most jurisdictions.

many years ago my husband and neighbor were clearing up after Hugo. They had a pretty good burn pile and it wasnt catching fire when from somewhere the neighbor produced a gas can of jet fuel. splashed it on and waited. splashed it on again waited a minute, then another minute. meanwhile I had been in the house when there was an explosion that rattled windows and sat off car alarms on the other side of the neighborhood. neighbors waljed out on their porches wondering if it was an earthquake. The boys were just high fiving each other covered in soot and twigs. This is why women live longer.

Tree hugger or not this doesn't look right and when I saw him throw a liquid to enhance the fire I knew it was far from right. An open dirt field would work better.

If that is gasoline, this is very dangerous, because the fumes in the air could catch on fire and cause second and third degree burns to the person throwing the gasoline. Let’s hope that it is another type of accelerant.

This guy is just clearing up property & needs to finish the job. A person can't just wait for people to come cut up a bunch of scrap limbs ! Burning with diesel fuel. When you work for a living, you have to finish the job and move on. There's no way that anyone can tell if there's equipment at this job to control the fire or not. There could possibly be a firetruck & bulldozer sitting right behing him!🤔🙄

obviously yall dont hear the equipment in the background, which could be used to control and contain the fire. how? google it. and for those saying it pollutes the environment, you pollute the comments
