My man take s trash out does the yard and does the laundry and cooks or helps to cook if I start cooking but if not he makes food. He is a keeper and starts ll does it after fifty four years and brings me coffee in bed and makes me breakfast. He said since I was at home raising our kids and working and the house work and making food when he retired he has done most all of it plus the outside.
I am 76yrs and I help my husband. If I am able I take out the trash when it needs to go out. My husband does the same. When he was disabled for 7 months I took the bins out to the curb too. Help whenever I can. It's love in marriage.

If the trash needs to be taken out, I don't wait around for my husband to take the trash out. I just do it. I also take it to the street if it needs to be rolled to the street. It's no big deal to me. I also pump my own gas, and I am 69 years old. I never wait around to do things that I can do if it needs to be done. 馃

Yep. But why do people put their garbage cans in the street? It clearly states on the can to place right at the curb and not in the street.. Practically all of my neighbors do this. And it also says place the cans at least two feet apart so the truck arm can grab the can but people place them right next to each other. Grown ass people who don't read instructions. Sad.

I think that it's nice that the husband helps throw out the trash. He also moves the bins to the street for pickup day. Sometimes the bins can be quite difficult to move to the street.

I have never taken out trash. Ever, that I can remember. 3 boys and a husband. Now, I will sit trashbags outside of the door, like she just did. idk, my husband always taught my boys to do the trash and mow the lawns, I'll do my gardening( when I had one).My baby son is in college, so he's back home now, and he just automatically takes out the garbage(now dishes that's a whole other story)

Ladies don't do that. If you want to start an argument this is a very good way to start. most guys wait until the day of to take the trash out and then take the trash cans to the end of the drive. trash pick up the next morning and when he comes home from work bring the trash cans back up the driveway. seeing trash bags in front of the door when he comes home. is really going to piss him off. He is going to pick the trash bags up put the bags in the in the trash cans and get back in his truck or SUV drive off and go get something to eat and drink at the bar to calm down and ignore your phone calls. Because that is going to piss you off ignoring you. and not to mention turning off that location button on the phone and that really going to piss you off. all because you can't walk 3 to 5 feet to put the trash in the trash cans instead of leaving the trash bags by the front door.
