The guy sitting in the front of the class is wearing a sports jersey. When I got my first job, all the newbies learned in orientation that there are three things you don't discuss around or with your customers. 1. politics, 2. sports, and 3. the weather. You are just bound to find someone who will argue about it with you just because you like or don't like what they do. But in school, we always had an American flag hanging in our classrooms. Same with the post office, court houses, the grocery stores, our own homes, and many other places. Nobody yelled at you or tried to destroy it, or anything. If anything, it brought people together, as all people saluted the flag. Now some people claim to love this country, but if you put up a flag, or wear one on your clothing, etc, it triggers something in these people's heads, and they go crazy. Not sure exactly when the American flag became hated, or had another flag hanging in its spot!

If one side can express their view it’s only right the other side should be able to as well!

Did he talk about politics in class? More than likely not. If the hat had a team on it or anything else would it be an issue? More than likely not. It bothered you because your not MAGA so you reported it. If he had a Gay pride hat on would you have reported it? Facts are he had a right to wear the hat. He didnt talk about politics nor did he push his ideologies on you but you pushed your ideologies on him by reporting it. Really think about it. Im not MAGA. Im independent. If an individual wants to express themselves who are you to tell them otherwise?
