So why didn't you just add a 2x4 in there instead of spray foam, and what the hell is up with the caulk in-between the jack and the king stud 🤔 I sure would love to see how the rest of the house is built.👍

knowing it is wrong but doing install anyway? This is why we need to get rid of cheap labor and only have tested and licensed carpenters working with apprentices taking classes in carpentry while getting on the job training as well. 4 years to be a carpenter, and not just 4 years on the job... real schooling.

Why not rip out that header and install it correctly?

not an exterior door, no insulation needed

Pad down the header with some 2by and maybe a rip of plywood? "Naw... I got me some Great Stuff," said the newly-unemployed 'carpenter', livin' in a van down by the river.

You're trying to hold a door frame in place with spray on insulation? You're the type of builder that gives contractors a bad name!!

What the hell? Why not add a 2x4? Or wait heres an idea, order a custom door to fit it. This house i guarantee is built like shit and no damn way its even close to being square in any room

I would of put a peice of wood in instead of doing that garbage. Thats the difference of someone caring about doing something correctly or just wanting a paycheck.

There is no way I just watched this…that wouldn’t pass any kind of inspection least not the state inspectors I deal with. How the hell can you even call yourself a contracted or any kinda skilled laborer cutting corners and not taking the time to make sure your job is done rite. This sickens me to death cause it happens a lot with these people nowadays. I wouldn’t trust anyone to build a house for me except the people I know who are skilled tradesman and have integrity and pride in their work
