If u are ever burning paper garbage or leaves or a dead Xmas tree in a place with burn bans … just have some hot dogs near by and cook lunch while it burns. Preparing food over a fire is legal. If cops and the fire department show up just tell them u are cooking a meal.

as kids here in Southern Ca. we would go around the neighbor hood in the east side and collect all the Christmas trees after Christmas that people would throw out we would bring them to an empty lot with no vegition or trees or buildings just vacant we'd pile all the trees up and light them did this right before the sun went down then we would run across the street and just stare and hang out when cops came we would say we don't know who did this.....the fire trucks never would show up and we'd just hang around till they all burned down..we'd do this every year and never burned nothing else down early 60's
