If I'm picking up my girlfriend and she says, "Can We Eat," I'm going to tell her yes no matter how many times I'm buying. Obviously, there might be a problem in her household. I would be like, "Are you okay at home because it seems like you're hungry quite often. Let's have this conversation. I knew a girl who was going through a situation at home, and she said she wasn't eating like that at home. I said, "Say no more, and I would go grocery shopping and drop the food off until things got better.
