That was tragic too and America should have said something but the problem is with the system. There are far too many mentally ill people running around. I see in these comments how people try to dehumanize George Floyd death by trying to use he was on drugs and overdose and the fact is he wasn’t overdosing when the officer put his knee on his neck and what was the probable cause, suspicious 20 dollar bill but we look up to Charlie Kirk and ignored the fact that he was spreading hate! Although the crime still results in murder. The murder with George Floyd is by an authority figure who it’s supposed to protect and serve, not murder. The situation with the Ukrainian young woman was indeed different. The killer was a man with schizophrenia who was off of his meds. Not a professional authority figure who was hired to protect and serve. We should be normalizing leaving those around individuals that knowingly have mental health issues and who are not adhering to there regular medical care; such as taking there meds , to be held accountable for their wellbeing and behavior in a public setting. If you know someone who is mentally unhinged do NOT wait until someone is killed by there unhinged hands! Say something and do something.
And no one ever mentions he ate enough fentanyl to kill 15 people just before the police caught him. The police HOLD wasn’t that killed George Floyd. It was the delay in getting him to a hospital. He probably wouldn’t have survived anyway with all that fentanyl in him. If he had told the police right upfront, he ate all that fentanyl they might’ve believed he was having trouble breathing, but saying you can’t breathe when you’re obviously talking means you are breathing.
