I really like Denzel. But I would be more impressed if Denzel and others donated to children right here in the US. There are lots of poor children doing without right here in our cities and out in rural areas. I saw them every day in my classroom.

He needs to donate more. Movie stars have so much money and assets they don't know what to do with it. They give enough to take care of their taxes. In the Bible it says a rich going to heaven is like a Camel going through the eye of a needle. There is so many poor and hungry people in this country and in other countries . Here in the "us of a" there are no shortage of food banks, churches, clinics, and other organizations in EVERY state that provide food for those in need. Farmers donate their surplus food. But here is where the problem lies. Americans are just too damn choosey and worry too much about what people would think of them for standing in a line that cater to those living below the poverty level. Plus, they feel certain jobs are beneath, you know, the jobs that are in want of laborers since they're presidents clamp down on foreign residents. I can promise you, that no African who benefit from the provisions that Denzel provide, would turn there nose up at ANY job that would provide the opportunity to feed their family. They would shovel crap to feed their families.
