I don't understand why it's okay and legal for motorcycles to pass cars by splitting the lanes, but when they are basically sitting almost on the line it suddenly becomes illegal for a car to simply go around them? It just doesn't seem right, but that's just an opinion.

This is exactly why it’s safer for motorcycles to lane split..no one should be passing anyone on the right side bc it was TWO lanes not three AND he was on his phone not paying attention. He acted as tho the motorcycle wasn’t even there! It was dangerous and just as illegal as if the car had passed a car like that. It wasn’t a merging lane, he literally acted as the motorcycle wasn’t in the lane w the rest of traffic.
But bikers do that all the time, and it's okay.L o l

motorcycle driver should drive very defensively and as if they're invisible, bc most car drivers either don't see them or don't regard them as motor vehicles. Also, you have NO PROTECTION! No seat belts, no air bags, nothing! It's just YOU and nothing else flying down the road at 60mph ir faster! iIrs virtual suicide driving a motorcycle!

This just happened to me today in my SUV. An idiot passed me driving in the bike lane and I wasn’t about to let him jump in front of me when a car turning right was in his way. He had to wait for about six cars to drive by before anyone let him in. He passed most of them as he did me, no one was going to take it. He then got in the left lane and was flipping all of us off. Amazing the stupidity in society today!
This is pathetic. nothing dangerous was done. So they passed them on the right side so what. it was a slow-moving pass. This is pathetic and is not what Justice is about. anyone crying that they're glad the person got a ticket or whatever is also pathetic
