As a little girl, I stepped on his feet and he would dance with me like this couple. Held on tight looking up at my dad as we danced. What a beautiful memory. His smile was beautiful 🥰🙏🏼💕

I always loved watching my Mom & Dad dance! Older men that know how to dance you around the floor so effortlessly always catch my eye! This gentleman is quite handsome too! I bet he was quite the ladies man!
That's one of my biggest regrets , that I never learned to dance. I tried so many times but had no rhythm. It's like I had 2 left feet. I could slow dance with anyone as long as we were touching, I did great & could move with them. But once you break contact, I can't keep up the rhythm. Once that happens, I'd get self-conscious and have to go sit down.
I met my husband 36 years ago this October, in able with a band. I had just worked a 16 hour shift and wanted to relax. I see this handsome guy dancing. He really was enjoying himself, a really good dancer, and his partner was having the time of her life. After that dance, another girl started dancing with him, then another. I get up the courage and ask him. Boy, was that fun. I got to dance with him 3 times that night. Went to work the next day, couldn't wait to get off and go back to see if he was there, he was. We danced until closing. The bar was so noisy that I didn't say his right name for 3 weeks, until I got to meet out of the bar. Three months later. we got engaged, then we married. We had 35 years of dancing. I lost him August 13. I still will always remember our dancing. Thank you for the video. 💕

I started teaching my son to dance the two-step, the waltz and the jive when he was in fifth grade. He had a sixth grade dance the next year and he had many girls to dance with. The next day I had four of his friends wanting to learn to dance. I have danced with my son a lot over our lives. My son is 43 and I’m 69 now. I can’t dance anymore due to rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis with spondylitis. I miss it, but he has a beautiful redhead wife of 15 years and they dance while I watch and applaud. Teach your children to dance it’s so much fun to dance with your kids.
My dad danced with me at my wedding, leading me all across the floor, swinging me around, pulling me back, keeping his arm around my waist. He then danced with my MOH, who said afterwards "OMG, that's was the best dance of my LIFE!" My mother just nodded and said "I met him at a dance 40 years ago, fell head over heels for him after one spin around the dance floor." A dancin' man is a powerful force.

Oh my makes me cry! My PaPa taught me how to dance like that . I was just twelve he would dance with me like that. My ex husband could dance like that we use to tear that dance floor up. Good rest both there souls.

My dad taught me how to two-step and three-step!! We would go to a C&W bar and my mom and my husband would sit at the table while me and my dad would dance!! It was so much fun and a memory I will cherish forever!!!

I once could dance like that. From the rumba to the cha cha and all the dog dancing at Auburn University. I said I was never going to marry a guy who couldn’t dance. Well I fell in love with a college baseball coach who could teach every pitcher how to throw every pitch but he only could two step. Ohhh how I miss my days and nights of dancing .🥰
