I had a couple of friends back in the 90s that chose this option for birth control. Protection for 3 yrs. The one friend did alright with it. The other suffered from side effects & an allergic reaction within the 1st year & had it removed. I stayed on the birth control pill, even though this option was available.
My ex had that. When she stopped using it, she had a kid. Poor kid is messed up. Brain and health problems.

this birth control went inside of your upper arm and in us in my area it was 6 of them. it lasted 3-5 years with 90% accuracy. this was the 90s. called norplant no they changed it to 1 tube that also lasts 3-5 years at 99% accuracy called nexplanon

I took the pill in 1970. For 3 months. When I went in for my 3 month check-up I was pregnant. Didn’t work for me. Doctor told me it made me more fertile! Benadryl makes me hyper. So do most sleeping pills. My body is just weird!
