I met a guy that does brake jobs in the auto parts parking lot. People actually drive there and park in a empty lot next door. He charges 50 dollars plus parts for new front brake pads. The police have been called several times. He tells them he's just helping out his friend. When the people agree they leave. I've heard he does about 10 to 15 jobs on Saturday and Sunday each. That's 1000 thousand dollars a weekend. Tax free.
Too cheap to rent an engine hoist. But I ain’t gonna lie for ole boy to put that engine in like that been doing that for a while.

that's probably a 2.0L or 1.8L Ecotec engine theyre all aluminum and plastic not that heavy compared to a V6 or V8. I have 4 cars running this engine platform two Cobalt SS two Pontiacs and an ATS..Very light and reliable easy to work on except the water pump I have pulled the engine out to replace those two people can lift it they're only about 300lbs butcI use an engine hoist so I don't have to step all on the car like that..A heavy engine would be in my Escalade.
