When my red heeler was sick and had to stay at the vets for a week he was very sad and didn’t get excited about anything. When I went to pick him up and he saw me he ran to me and snuggled me so much. They said that it was the fastest they had seen him move in a week. He was happy to come home and he was my lap dog for a week. Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago and I miss him. He was such a wonderful friend and companion. I know he is in heaven and he is having fun playing with my husband. I will see them again someday.🙏🏼

I got hit by a car and I’ve been in the hospital for 17 days 😭 will be in here for two more weeks proably, and then who knows how long in rehab to relearn to walk. I miss my dogs so fucking much it’s just as painful as my recovery.

I had been on a long trip and my son-in-law took care of my boy, a JRT. Upon my return, and opening the door into their home, my boy literally came running to me and jumped up into my arms, all the while kissing my face! My boy loves my son-in-law and I know that he was good to my boy, but my boy just missed me terribly and I missed him so very much. He is 15 yrs old now and I don't know how much longer we have together as I'm old too. But we take one day at a time. 🥰

when I went to Mexico before I used to kennel my corgi as a pup at PetSmart and they had play area for him to look thru window my mom and I came.back from Mexico to pick him up from kennel. I felt so loved as he looked and saw me thru kennel window he got so excited to see me. and I felt so grateful for my lovely dog Neo. I missed him so when he saw me that I had such love for himmy Heart wanted to jump thru glass window to see my doggie and I had missed him so. the bond is so special with doggies or any animal for that matter. I saw a guinea pig that day in a glass aquarium he looked like my guinea pig. I would load him up with food and leave him at home and after picking up my doggie I'd see he was ok and happy to see me..I have such fond memories .my mom and dementia and lost her memory . I hope that doesn't happen to me as I'm so happy to have.memoriesmof trips and my beloved.doggie.and.petsmart.

. I have a Boston terrier and I have health issues. My last hospitalization he wouldn’t eat while I was gone. Dogs are amazing and so loyal. That’s a good dog mine wouldn’t have thought twice about ripping the leash out of those hands to get to me.

Reminds me when I had gone to Oklahoma for 10 days a year after we were blessed with our daughter and my husband saw me and was holding her and she was trying to get away and I told him just let her go. Well she ran which really wasn’t she just shook her arms in circles to get to me and I was waiting for her down and she was giggling and the people were just parting the way and were watching her and they loved it so much they saying aawww an was snapping a few pictures while she did it.
