He may have been set up. He sounds genuine. He may really be innocent. It’s very possible. It happens. For someone to not take a plea deal and put yourself in harms way by going to trial. Most people who are guilty are always going to take a deal. He didn’t. Which means he believes 100% that he’s innocent and that justice hasn’t been served yet insinuating that the real culprits are still out there. I’m gonna follow this. He’s said he’s going to appeal. So we’ll see what happens. Depending on when this video was actually made.

They don't need proof against you. No more to put you in prison. And it's the burden of proof and they usually never have it

EVEN if a person is innocent , the courts will find Something to make you guilty , I used to advocate so I know , but never lost a case 🙂

You know what ? I don't think he did it . Justice hasn't been all its cracked up to be. He probably got framed by the people who did . And I bet the prosecutors aren't confused ..Getting a conviction and getting Justice aren't the same thing . It's been happening to A LOT of people. So sad.

No knowledge of this case.. But imagine sitting in that seat, in that position, an innocent man or woman.. It happens a lot more than it ever should. Overzealous detectives, prosecutors, etc, thinking only of the next W to add to their career boosting file, ignore facts, create facts, and in some cases.. Out right lie just for the W. It's a system far from perfect.. One worth working to perfect. These are human lives, not just W's for a career or tax payer dollars for a profit thirsty corporate prison system. For profit prison is the biggest enemy of actual justice. GOD BLESS AMERICAN🙏

It is difficult to reconcile the person I knew with the gravity of these allegations. While it may sound cliché, I never would have imagined him capable of the level of malice described in this case. My interactions with him—and even his well-behaved pets—gave no indication of this outcome. My thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family and the Maxwell family during this devastating time. I have always been a firm believer in the presumption of innocence; however, now that a verdict has been reached, I hope he receives the psychological support necessary to face the reality of his actions."

Mr. Anderson needs new representation , sounds to me he got screwed and they didn’t even use lube. Why wasn’t Mr. Anderson offered a plea deal? That’s some bull butter, not offering a plea deal…smh

First of all, it’s not your job to prove your innocent. It’s their job to prove that you’re guilty and I guess they proved he was guilty.

It sad because this young man has been extremely honest and sometimes unfortunately DA wants to get guilty plea at any cost of someone else life. This young man to me it seems like he is sincere and I don’t think he did the crime. In other words if he did I wish he would spend the rest of his miserable incarcerated life in prison.

He is intelligent and well-spoken. I hope he didn't do the crimes, but if he did, I hope that within the prison walls, he will learn and grow to own up and tell the complete truth. Sad for everyone.

Not sure but this looks like the case…. A judge has sentenced Maxwell Anderson to life in prison for the murder of 19-year-old Milwaukee college student Sade Robinson. Milwaukee County Judge Laura Crivello handed down the sentence on Friday morning. She said Anderson won’t be eligible for extended supervision, which is similar to parole. In June, a jury found Anderson, 34, guilty on all the counts for which he was charged. That included first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, arson and hiding a corpse.

There's no requirement by prosecution to offer a plea deal. If they have enough evidence and they feel they can try the case and win without offering a plea then they will. Doesn't matter what the defendant's lawyer wants. This guy had to have done it.
