I’m in Danville California. There is a Franciscan retreat house at the top of the hill. Dad has a very good chef coming down the hill through an expensive neighborhood. A chef keeps getting pulled over by different police officers. They do this because he is black and they don’t understand why he would be in that neighborhood. It happens to him every time there’s a new police officer on the beat. Even in California racism still exist.
