the statement about Angola state prison is NOT TRUE !!! That happens to be very very clean ,self efficient,and well structured prison !!! the inmates there are all learning skills ,all have a job ,this prison relies on itself ,no outside help ,,they grow their own food ,meat , electric etc ,,they have a world known rodeo each year ,that inmates perform ,work ,ride and they make furniture art ,etc that they sell !!!! this prison is a very highly rated outstanding prison in AMERICA if not the world ....

on rikers you are showing HDM which has been closed since the 90's because the mess hall floor collapsed and that's why it is rusted out. Thay white slab in the cell is the Box or The Hole and they give you a mattress, sheets and a blanket, and it is not over crowded I just left there in March of last year after beating fake charges.

I know a guy who worked at Angola prison in Louisiana he was one of the guards that did shake up of cells . He sometimes tells me horror stories from that place and he got hiv/aids from a hidden needle a guy had hidden on him and they didn’t tell him that he had it until it was too late

If you continue to cause problems or infractions, you can extend your stay. Some facilities have industries where an offender can get assigned to a job. Good behavior has its rewards. If you are a displinary problem, you will spend a good portion of time in lockup. The best way to keep from being a guest of the state or government is to behave. It boils down to this (Good, you will never have to worry about jail or prison. ( Bad if you break the law, you go to jail if you're real bad, Prison) Prison is not a vacation.
