my two 99 GMCs are over 25 years old. One has 450k and just now has engine issues and my other has 415k and I just had to replace the rearend. If you service them and take care of them they will last.
And that's why Toyotas are so reliable
I think the one on the left is low on air
Doesn’t matter what brand, if you take care of it any car will last a long time
An American forged crank is best .
The Brittish crank shaft is cast iron. Probably from the 1960's. The red line for engine rotation was probably 5,500 rpm. Compression, 9.5. Hp 125bhp. That would be on a good day. And only if the Lucas electronics were in a good mood. Old Joke: Know why the Brittish drink warm beer? Because Lucas makes refrigeration.
I love my yota it's my 5th truck all over 3 hundred thousand miles with out any engine problems really can't say that about any other vehicle!
this is like playing a xylophone to tell which bar is stronger. It's ridiculous.
peykan sound like harder steal like a anvil other two sound mixed or recycled metal over an over 🤔
Two are cast iron. Wears as well as the last forged steel one but forged steel is stronger for high HP and RPM. Forged steel costs more and isn’t needed for most engines.
Hardened, not hardened. Internals matter😁
Yes, Toyota makes good vehicles. But, a significant portion of the profits of US built cars goes back to Japan. Japanese own approaching 1 trillion in US property with a lot of it being commercial property. Rents goes back to Japan. SO keep sticking your American flags out of the beds of those tundra. keep telling yourselves that "it's a world economy.
buy Toyota! that's what I hear!
Love my 2007 Solara convertible.
Case Hardening always rings like a case harden anvils
What is this telling us. Looks and sounds interesting to me, but I am not an engineer and very curious none the less🤔
proves nothing....
Subaru,s are good for over 3 hundred thousand miles easy there just breaking in at 2 hundred thousand
My 2009 Dodge caravan with the 3.3 has over 510,000 miles on it.
This is Good
different sizes
Let me tell you Kia has the shittiest camshaft. 4 banger bent with no turbos? Didn’t even think that was possible
toyo sounds like tin...
Boy you swapped sticks
those are different sizes of crank shafts. of course they are going to make a different sound!
My 2009 Lexus es 350 has 291,000! She drives smooth as butter!...
Yup Toyota just replaced my turbo v/6 tundra motor under recall
that says absolutely nothing the crankshafts sizes vary far too much of course they sound different
Toyota has a forged steel crank, the others are cast
the japanese use Cold Press to press out their molds..... the whole building shakes when theyre pounding them..... Makes for a stronger, more consistent forge....
Any Questions?✍🏻
Toyota is superior
All forged cranks made with different steel alloys.. When you rebuild to race, or performance, you always want a forged steel crank..
@Trollio the difference is that 2 of them are made from melted metal, the middle one is the same metal that is pounded until shaped in its necessary form.
My FORD is 26 yrs old and has 240,000 mi still going !
Do-Re-Mi ?
Give me the yota
2 cast and 1 forged
