Yahshua (Jesus) teaching that "the kingdom of heaven is within you" and other ancient esoteric teachings was viewed as blasphemy by the standardized religions of his time primarily because it challenged the religious authority, hierarchy, and system of external rituals. The established Jewish and pagan religious leaders, like the Pharisees, viewed their authority as divinely mandated and tied to strict adherence to the Law, the Temple, and their interpretations. They crucify Yahshua the Nazarene because he was teaching Israelites to be Gods by unlocking the soul's power that within. Yahshua deeply expressed Know thyself and know YHWH.
