Hertford cattle are not mean. Growing up, my dad had a herd of Hertford, including a bull, and they were excellent cattle. There is something wrong with this bull that he's acting like this.

we bailed haye for a farmer in Jasper County and he had the meanest bull who spent all day pushing and moving our pickup truck all over the pasture 😆 and didn't like anyone except the owner, didn't need a watch dog because he had a watch bull with serious attitude and he warned us to stay away from him and he was definitely correct,,do not mess with a bull, respect it's territory

When I was about 5 we lived on a farm an part of the rent payment was feeding the cattle,I never forget because I had to ride along on the hay wagon an it was left to my mom to feed them an the big bull had fractured a leg an he was so slow gettn to the hay in the morning s my mother went an broke some up for him alot closer an she did it until he was healed an the still stood an waited for my mom to bring him his hay an that bull would go after everyone ecept my mom,I remember the frozen ground hurting my ass sittn on an empty trailer the rest I remember the story told over an over for years an yes she luvd every animal.
