HOT

When my son was about 2½, I had gone out to the car to get something and he was going potty. I was gone maybe 2-3 minutes. That's all it took for him to call 911 to ask for help wiping his butt 😂 I apologized for the wasted time but the dispatcher couldn't stop laughing. Kids are a trip.

My daughter called 911 to report me for being a mean mommy because I wouldn't let her have any "candy." Another time her bike was stolen so she wanted to draw a picture to help the police find it. Her bike had a water bottle attached to it ... unfortunately in her picture it looked like a penis hanging. The Officer did everything he could to not bust out laughing and promised her they would have no problem identifying her bike when they found it.

When I was 5, I called the police because I lost my rubber knife. They sent 2 cops up to my door thinking I had a knife.

My daughter called 911 without telling me. She was 4. She called them because she “ate all the cookies and knew it was bad” She hung up the phone with 911. Of course the police showed up at my door. When she saw the Officers she bolted lol Apparently, it is common for children to call 911. 20 years later I was hoping the police department had the phone call on record. I wanted to share it at her wedding but, it wasn’t saved😔

When my son was barely able to crawl, my 3 yr old daughter locked him in my bedroom which also had a bathroom in it. The door didn't have a lock with a key and my husband was an hour away at school (prior to cell phones) and I had no one else to call but the non-emergency police number. They were able to get the door open and when they did, my son was sitting in front of it sucking on my douche bottle! It was one of those large reusable ones. I was so embarrassed, but laughing hysterically that I literally wet my pants! The officer picked the douche up and asked me if it was mine! He, too and the other officer were embarrassed. Then my daughter began crying and begging them not to arrest her, then ran into her room and locked her door!!!

when my daughter was 4. she called 911 to tell them I wouldn't wake up. The police and ambulance showed up because they thought I OD. I said I woke up but went back to sleep. I was fine. I had them talk to my daughter. The cop was just relieved I was ok

When my boys were four and five , they got a hold of my phone and the youngest called 9112 tell them his brother would not give him the ketchup. i heard him keep saying that he was really mad.I went out to see who he was talking to and his brother was trying to grab the phone from him?And when I got the phone , he was talking to the 911 operator who informed me that prank calls were not acceptable. I told her it wasn't a prank that he got a hold of the phone and called.

when my daughter was 7 me my dad and her brother left to go pick up her other sister and told her that her Gigi (my mom) is outside weeding the gardens she said okay but must not have really been paying attention . all of a sudden a cop walked around the corner and scared the shit out of my mom because my daughter called 911 and said she couldn't find anyone in the house. this was a case of selective hearing 😬🤣

my grandson called 911 13 times. luckily we live in a small rural town so it goes to the local police station. the dispatcher called my daughter to ask what was going on. he just called to talk to her about random things. he got a good talk from his mom . so now he knows not to call unless he's asked to. gotta love young children.

My son was 4 and I had the doors locked while cooking supper. I ask him from the kitchen what he was doing and he said a lady wanted to talk to me. I knew the phone hasn't ring but I went in and got the phone (house phone) and he had an overseas operator on the phone. I explained to her and we got a good laugh out of it. Neither one of us could figure out how he did it.....but at least she was very understanding...

My daughter was about 2 or 3 & dialed 0 (before there was 911)& was having a conversation with police dispatch when they transferred her call well next thing I know there's a loss bang on the door & I opened it to a sea of police cars, fire trucks & ambulances!!😳 When they had told her to get me she said "no" I was in the basement doing laundry but they couldn't understand her!! When the cops asked if everything was okay & I saw her on the phone I told them to stick around cuz I was going to kill her!!🤣 When they saw her on the couch talking away they thought it was hysterical, me not so much I wanted to die!!😂

the dispatcher should have let her speak she still didn't get to tell her what she wanted to tell her she's too busy worrying about stuff she's already gotten answers to which was no. so send the cops and listen to the little girl instead of trying to talk over her and correct her

I use to work for sheriffs department and I was a dispatcher and any time someone calls 911 we will send a officer just to complete the call log on that call. Most times it’s kids playing on the phone but that one time it could be something bad. It’s not the fault of either parent, it’s called kids being kids and curiosity got the best of her. She knew the numbers to call so that’s good, so no blame on anyone

The dispatcher should have listened further while the police 👮 officers where been dispatched. GID forbid, something bad could been happening and the lil girl wanted to explain it through through DISNEY ICE. 🙏🏼

A couple of years ago we went to visit my grandmother that lives 7 hours away. Me, my husband, my kids, my dad, and my brother. We put our stuff down inside, turned the TV on for the kids, then went right outside of the room to smoke and talk about dinner plans. A cop showed up minutes later because my youngest dialed 911 to tell the officer all about the motel and when he asked to talk to me she told him she not here 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ My dad's family still laughs about it.

I’m not complaining.i was very impressed. My 18 yr old accidentally dialed 911 and hung up.she didn’t realize they were sending 4 of the biggest baddest troopers ive ever seen to our door.they were very kind and respectful.ask me if they could physically see and talk to everyone in our home.my daughter and I both apologized for the mistake.ii was so humbled that they came to check on my family.Lesson learned!

My two boys were playing and got ahold of the hand held phone. We hand programmed 911 into the phone and taught them how to use it. This was about 30 years ago or longer. We were watching the TV and looking out for them. Next thing we knew, the police officer who patrolled the neighborhood stopped by because he heard the call. We knew him well. We just thought he wanted to chat as he did occasionally. But then he mentioned that someone called 911. The boys denied it at first. But he had a little face to face chat with the boys that a small child could understand. After he left, we were confused but then figured out that my wife had programmed the phone to dial 911 and they were just playing with it. We immediately removed the program from the phone because they knew how to dial 911. It was comforting that they knew what to do in case something bad happened, but kind of scary that if the patrol officer didn’t know us, police, fire and an ambulance could have showed up all at one time.
