I followed an old man out of a drugstore once. I was wearing a white shirt and necktie and carrying a portable radio. I worked for a construction firm, but looked like I could be a cop or security guard. This old guy had a box of medicine he was stealing. While strolling through the exit, he was tearing open the box, stuck the bottle of medicine in his pocket, threw the box in the trash, turned around and walked back in. Never once did he look around. He would’ve easily seen me. I ignored him and went on my way, but it was really hard not to advise the guy on his poor technique.
