My elderly friend lives in an apartment complex for senior citizens. When the building owners & management decided to make renovations of the building Outside & and Inside also remodeling of the inside apartments. They opened up the table for residents to make suggestions on what improvements can be made inside their units. My elderly friend's son told her to ask for a front door that automatically locks behind them when the door closes( just like in a hotel room) for more secure safety purposes. To avoid someone trying to follow them inside their unit before they can get their door locked.

pretty clear to me when he RAN up and stuck his FOOT out trying to STOP her from closing that door (and nearly succeed) that he had ZERO good intentions! she already felt a certain kinda way before she even got to her door.
