Im a lifelong trucker and have been all over the country, all 48 states, and Canada. It’s all beautiful in one way or another. The Bronx, Staten Island, Long Island, Brooklyn, Yonkers, sometimes get a bad rap, but pertaining to NYPD, I only have two interactions with them in 34 years, and they where both good! Back in 2019, I had a load of new elevators delivering in downtown Harlem. I was early, 6am, and parked against a curb to wait for contractors. A NYPD cruiser stopped, and said “what’s up?” Said, “May I park here? I’m waiting to unload.” There were 2 of them, and they said , “no problem, we will cruise by and check on you in a bit” Then they got a serious call, and hit the cherry’s and berries. But they were layed back and cool! The second time, I had to back up a closed off-ramp to get turned around. A very blinged up well did female NYPD walked up to my window and said, “you can’t go down that way honey, you gotta get turned around.” She stopped traffic for me to back up!🙏🏼❤️
They are testing the new system for people that park on the fire hydrants. Thats just an example of what they are capable of doing plus $4,000 ticket.
