He needs to do all he can on his own and build up his strength because one day there might not be someone there to really help when needed! I praying never happens! God Bless him! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

I've been in that place, but didn't ask for help. 40 yrs old, broke L3,L4,L5 Lumber Surgery, Single with 4 kids. Didn't depend on wheelchair, walker or chruches. Not at home held myself on things crawled. Wore an Iron Saddle because that's what it looked. But Im 70 and do everything except Dance Polkas and but I m good Im 74 yrs young. But it's hard to not do physical work.

I know a lot of handicapped people that don't like any help because they, for one, want to try to be independent. For two, some take it as an insult.

Pride before the fall!!!!!! What’s wrong with Men. Don’t get me wrong , I love them , but really he put his life in danger. Nothing is wrong with accepting help when you really need it. What would be a shame is if no one came to help people walking by and seeing him struggling.

He's lucky a car didn't drive by while he stubbornly took the difficult way to the sidewalk.

This doesn't make sense. Why wouldn't he go to a sidewalk with a handicap edge. Then people would be able to help push the chair over it. The handicap edges are often too high.
