Here’s a bit of information about this place. Thisis Drewry NC… it’s on the border of Vance and Warren co heading up towards VA by Kerr lake. Buchanan’s has provided for this predominantly black community since before I was born. The area is filled with black farmers and black families for generations. The Buchanan’s just happen to be one of the few white families around.

I miss him stores used to be able to go on in stores and get you a big old piece of hog head cheese about a half inch thick piece of bologna about a half inch thick and a big old Texas toast bread I'm talking about the best sandwich in the world where I grew up right down the road with the store look just like this and every weekend when we went fishing we stop and get sandwiches
