I was visiting at a large city and went to the downtown shopping area. A women had three dauchounds tied to leashed together. I asked if they would get away. She laughed and said they were too stupid to get far. I watched and started laughing. At every parking meter one would be on one side and two on the other side. The two would pull the other one around like tug a war. the next meter was a repeat but the one on the end switched to the middle one would be on his side.. The one in the middle took the most hits against the meter poles. The sad part is this was before cell phones.
