I cut down several trees in my backyard. One was right between my shed and the neighbors house in the corner of the fence. The only way to do it is to start at the top and tether rope around so each piece will catch and fall slowly to the bottom. Cutting the entire tree is an accident waiting to happen 🙃

I'm so shocked he couldn't push that multi ton, 30' tall tree over the other way. You get what you paid for. If you need a tree to be cut down and it's anywhere near a structure pay a little more for the job.
I've cut down trees before. But if they were bigger than I could reasonably handle or if I couldn't positively predict that they would fall in a harmless direction, I would call a professional. In a confined space, the pros will take down a big tree piece by piece, starting at the top, to make sure it doesn't hit anything. That's something I can't do.
actually it was a big success. he needed a new roof and got the insurance co to pay for it.

When you want a tree down in a difficult spot, get a logger, I have watched them drop a tree between the house and garage without trimming the branches.

with trees like this you must climb and begin at the top in small sections. tedious but less prone to accidents
how did he think that was ever going to fall that way? he had a better chance of dropping it on the neighbors yard with the white fence..
climb tree cut into chunks pretty simple, sure it takes longer but think of all the time and money you'll spend fixing the roof..
from the start its all wrong, the face cut is on the wrong side, he could have topped it, and he's not got proper PPE.
Maybe 2500 hundred to cut down the🌴 and 5000 to 10000 to fix the house back depend on how much damage he did
