That’s kind of you to want to help, but I understand that some people prefer to do things on their own. I've offered assistance to many wheelchair users, but they’ve declined. When I try to help anyway, they sometimes ask me to back off. I’m still learning when it's appropriate to step in and when to respect their wishes.
