Saddleback Caterpillar, North America. Basic habitat stated treea and shrubs. A spine of venom carries an irritation, swelling, and other reactions. The small bristles and the brown saddle looking patch on it back are mostly how they are recognized, it says. I believe it also stated that this is the larval state of a moth who will cocoon and hatch during following summer. Hope this helps.
