I was digging through a flower garden at work when I found a money clip. in the center of a money clip was a $20 gold eagle. I knocked on the nearest door and asked the old gentleman if anybody had lost a money clip, the guy was 90 years old,, his grandpa gave him that $20 gold eagle when he was 5 years old and asked him to never sell it. well that old man started balling he was so happy. one of my coworkers said I could have just put it in my pocket and been $1,500 the Richer. I said maybe you could have done that but not me.
Many years ago I found $10,000 in cash in a brown paper bag. I prayed that there was no identifying information in the bag. However, there was and I returned the money to the woman. She said that the money was childcare payments that her husband had finally paid her. She was very grateful, however she did not offer me a reward. She told someone in the apartment building that I lived in about it and they shamed her into offering me a reward. She offered me $50. I was insulted and refused it. Although it was the right thing for me to return the money,I was angry with her for being so cheap. A lot of people told me that they would’ve put that money in their pocket and kept it moving. Like I said,I did the right thing and God has blessed me many, many times in my lifetime.
Leaving work one night, I saw a large purse just sitting in the middle of the lot. It was obvious someone took most of its contents out but there was a medical insurance card left inside. I looked her up on FB and sent a message letting her know I had found her purse but not much was in it. The young single mother had been at a trampoline place with her son and her mom and some guy came in and snatched it. They had to uber home cuz her only set of keys were also in there. She was very happy I had at least gotten a few things back to her and said she wished she could give me a reward but she didnt have any money left and was struggling just to feed her child. Told her it was not necessary and I was just happy to get a few things back to her. So when she came to my work to pick it up, I had put $100 in her purse with a note, from one single mom to another, I hope this helps a little. I 100% believe in karma and will always do the right thing even if nobody ever knows I did. Integrity!
I went to Nordstrom's to the bathroom to breastfeeding my daughter I found a diamond solitaire ring on the sink I thought she'd come back I didn't want to turn it in I thought someone might take the beautiful ring about 10 minutes later two women rushed in and she said oh no Mom it's gone my ring is gone I said no it's not I have your ring it was a really wonderful feeling🌸💕💕
we found a lady's little dog one time it was during a ice storm... my husband and I we went to all kinds of houses looking for the owner couldn't find it so we ended up bringing the little dog into our house. the next day we put out enough information through other neighbors that the owner was found when the woman came to our door and asked if we had her dog we told her yes she acted like we stole her dog very ungrateful but instead of getting all upset about it I know we say that little dog's life that night and I'm glad we did the right thing. sometimes you don't have to look for a reward you get the reward just knowing you did the right thing
When my son was 12 he found a wallet at a flea market in the men’s bathroom. It was full of money . It had an id . He went to the main office and they used loud speaker to call the man . He was a farmer and that was all if the money he made for that day’s sale . He told my son he could have free corn all summer!! We declined the offer . It was just the right thing to do.
I found a wallet in my car. It had no money. It was mine, please pray for me lol
If i find something and can not immediately find the owner then I am claiming ownership and dont apologize 😆. Im sorry but im not leaving it with the store clerk or business owner cause they are just gonna keep thag ish for themselves. Just being honest 😆. But credit cards or any important things that are not cash I will leave no problem.
I found a cashiers envelope in a shopping cart in the parking lot. When I walked by everyone in line to return this envelope the employees complained that I didn’t wait in the line to return their few thousand dollars in cash and checks. They didn’t even say thank you. Whatever…having a savings account of good karma moments for future use is enough.
My Husband has a horse shoe up his butt and is always finding money and is being given things he works in Detroit and every time he finds money he goes to the store get and gets food for the homeless people and when I say he finds money it's always a $100 or $50 it crazy the luck he has and he refuses to play the lottery or gamble he tells me he is lucky enough in life and wouldn't charge a thing..
Thanks to you all for showing integrity in your actions and comments. I just saw a very disturbing clip and the comments were just as bad. God Bless the good!
I found a wallet in the middle of a Home Depo parking lot __The cars were running over it I picked it up and a few of its contents that fell out __ their was an actual note that said, if found please call __so I called the number and a man answered...I said are you missing a wallet he said Yes, and can you describe it...HE DID __ HE SAID, I LEFT IT ON THE BUMPER OF HIS TRUCK AND DROVE OFF __HIS ADDRESS WASENT FAR...I told him... I'm leaving I'll just drive it too you HE agreed __when I arrived He was standing in His driveway waiting for me __ HE WAS SO SO GREATFUL HE SAID HE LET ME PAY YOU ...I DECLINED, SAID NO THANK YOU, HE KEPT INSISTING AND AS HIS WIFE AND I WERE TALKING HE LET THE MONEY SLIDE DOWN INSIDE MY DOOR __ I found the 💵 much later and I just Smiled and looked up✝️
it doesn't matter if the person would give you a reward or not the rewards should be knowing that you did the right thing, you would be richer anyway from knowing you did the right thing.
So many comments & I still don’t understand the video at all 🤔
I used to work in a dry cleaners, and men would leave all kinds of things in their suit jackets. I would always put it in an envelope and place it on their cleaning bag. Once a man left $7,000.00 in his pocket. When he picked up his clothes , he asked what he left this time. He opened the envelope and stated "I thought I had lost the money. It was to pay off my mom's mortgage. " He tried to give me a reward but I would not take it.
I think the girl in the video is trying to tell her boss that she's broke.
I found a $20 bill outside of a Walgreens. I picked it up & looked around but this was on the side of the building with very little foot traffic. I did My shopping then went to Paint Class 20 min away. During class chatter another Lady proceeds to tell about how She'd stop by the same Walgreens & had lost a $20. 😲😆 I silently retrieved that $20 out of My wallet, walked over and handed it to Her. She was so amazed as were the other ladies. .... I'm so glad I had the integrity to do that, cause after 10yrs of remembering it I'm Still happy I gave it to Her. 🥰🙏
Heck, I just went to Walmart and a lady seen a flow of money one by one like it was leading a trail and then my debit card she went to the desk and they said my party was waiting. I was kind of sketched because I was like that’s my maiden name which was weird and I had nobody with me, but even though it was $20 I was so thankful that she found it.
I once found a man’s wallet in the street I opened it only to find the owners address. When I returned it to him instead of saying thank you he opened it up and showed me he had no cash in it so there was nothing for me to steal. I said nothing and walked away! This man had multiple credit cards and I thought to myself if I were a criminal he had plenty to steal! People are so odd! I continue to do the right thing at every opportunity! I don’t need thanks or rewards to do what I know to be right!
back in the day when city kids rode city buses to school (I was 9), I found a huge roll of cash beside my seat. I gave it to the bus driver. When I told my mom she called me stupid, said the bus driver probably kept it and I should've brought it home and slapped my face. Despite that, I became a police officer🙏
At one point my son was homeless, he found a wallet with over 100 dollars in it and the owners ID . He called me and asked me to give him a ride so that he could return it to the owner. He has issues but he is honest
are they telling their boss to bring them money???
that's clearly his wife😂
I literally just left my belly bag in a shopping cart a couple of hours ago & a nice man found it in the cart in the parking lot & delivered it to my hose because my drivers license was inside!!! Also had just taken $400 in cash out of atm. Just a wonderful Thanksgiving for me today! God bless him
I found a wallet at food lion one night with $1001 dollars in it looked for the guy in the parking lot but he already left and went to go home to search for the owner 20 mins later the cops knocked on my door asking for the wallet I hand it them with everything in it and explained everything they left came back a few mins later and arrested me for larceny, 🤦🏼♀️ never again will I pick anything up that someone dropped
Driving up to my place I saw a wallet in the street and money was in the street too,I looked over at my neighbor who was outside with her kids and they didn't see it so I got out of my truck picked up the wallet and the money. it was $500. I returned wallet to the address on the i.d but kept the money Their was some money in the wallet, but I didn't take it. Was i wrong for keeping the $500(keep in mind,it wasn't in the wallet,it was on the street)?.
🆗, sometimes I'm a little ditzy lol But I was thinking that this video was saying she needed her boss to put money in her wallet! Like she doesn't make enough money? Am I wrong?
Shows being true to yourself will always prevail 🥰
i would never accept a reward to return something that doesn't belong to me. I chased someone down from the walmart parking lot to the back of the store to return his wallet after seeing him drop it he kept ignoring me like i was trying to sell him something than when he realized i had his wallet he looked at me like i picked his pocket I said dude you dropped this didn't even thank me ... So?? I wasn't returning it for his thanks or to be a superhero it was his taking it would be theft maybe im naive but ill keep my heart clean-ish so if i stand before my king i can stand tall
I found a German shepherd one time. Bright him into my apartment and we put out flyers looking for the owner. She came after a few days and was so grateful. I was glad she found us. This was before the internet. I would have taken the dog to my uncle’s farm if we couldn’t find the owner so I was glad she came.
i want to hear the stories of the people who kept the money and what they bought with it, come on,there has to be more people that kept lost money than those who turned it in, what did you buy with the money?
I'm just wondering why she's pointing to an empty wallet and what it has to do with the guy
Why is she climbing a ladder???
As a restaurant manager I have found everything from a bank bag full of money To a loaded glock left by customers. You would be surprised of how many people don’t take care of their property.
that is not a step she's standing on on that ladder. if he's the manager I will be very very angry and not happy. she could have fallen and killed herself. that is the top rack where you set a can of paint or light bulbs. it's not made to hold the weight of an entire individual true or wait didn't collapse it but it very well could have. I wrote and shipyards I am super super safety conscious. nothing is ever ever ever happened when I was driving a forklift. and we're talking a large yard forklift with extension forks that went up 50 ft.
I believe the gold piece would be worth approximately $4,500 based on one ounce bullion value at current rate. You are a great example of integrity
My conscious would never allow me to keep someone else's hard earned anything unless it's my fiance.
I swear, this guy looks like my ex-husband. What a trip! lol
I don't get this video. She is showing an empty wallet. Who is watching it?
I lost everything cent I had, a young boy found my money, turned it in & the store contacted me! My Angel & I thank God, There are still Heroes without capes & Angels flying too close to the ground, Happy new year!! I both love & miss you 🥰🥰🥰🥰🙏🏼💕💕💕
You have such a great heart ❤️!!
I live in an area riddled with crime and drugs. one day I left the dollar store and had forgotten my wallet. it had about $500 in it. I was more worried about my ss card and ID. someone must have not looked in it or were good people. not a dollar had been taken. it was a miracle and I hope karma blessed them
I found a wallet in a parking lot near my car near Christmas. I didn't even open it. Just took it to the police station. Told them where I found it. They took my contact info, and the next day I got a thank-you call from the owner. I figured the police were better than me at locating folks.
I think that she is reminding him that it is payday.
Years ago when there was still some undeveloped beach left, my girlfriend needed to wee wee. She went into the bushes and came back out with a purse. Apparently some body else had the same Idea. Looks like it had been there a couple weeks.Back at work Monday, I shipped it back to the address on the Montana Dr license with a note that said “ Great place to wee wee!” I would have loved to see her face! Yes there was lotsa money and c/cards.No, didn’t steal anything. That was back when people tried to help people and had respect for people.
20 years ago I found a bag that looked like canvas about 50 feet passed a real bad Pothole in the road on an Interstate highway. stopped and grabbed it threw it in the back of my pickup truck. when I got to where I was going I took it in my garage and on the side of the bag said ," Federal Reserve. opening it up was full of 20s 50s and 100s. been retired now for 20 years..
I've found debit cards in the parking lot of two different stores on the same day. Two different people and I gave them to management at the store. I hate a freaking thief 😡🤬 and there was no way was I going to use these peoples cards. Never heard a word but I know these people are greatfull 🙏🙏.!!!.
this clip deserves to be deleted!
Is that his wife?
i am clueless can someone explain?
Hell,, i thought that young lady was gonna fall off the ladder. Glad she didn't🤭
