drill baby drill is not economically viable. takes 8 to 10 million dollars to drill and frack 1 hole, break even price is right around 60 dollars, if it drops below that the oil companies won't make their investment back, why drill baby drill if you are going to go bankrupt drilling holes, and that is in the plains states, you multiply those numbers if you drill in alaska or on the ocean. moral of the story is "you can't drill your way to lower gas prices or oil prices", only way is to artificially get cheaper oil is make a deal with OPEC to flood the markets and kill expensive domestic oil industry, like trump did in 2018 and is doing it again now.
