I think he was wrong on that circumcision % and isn't probably fully aware of its pros vs cons but overall he gave a very inclusive answer to both questions.

I disagree with his statement on cleanliness. if you have never taken care of an elderly man that was not circumcised (or a mentally handicapped or physically handicapped) then you don't know. TONS of them form adhesion to the penis because that skin is not properly taken care of. and why it's not, UTIs increase, infection in the skin adhesions increase. smell, drainage, urine pooling, etc. have had difficulty placing catheter in a man that wasn't circumcised and had adhesions. this foreskin MUST be pulled back every day, cleaned and returned (pulled back over head) or then it creates an entirely different issue that can cost a man his penis.

Circumcisions were originally commanded be god for the Hebrews, partly for hygiene, partly to prove their devotion, when Jesus came around he was circumcised because he was Jewish, however, that requirement was not continued when Christianity was invented by the Roman’s after Jesus’ assassination, for propaganda to make collecting converts more easily or to differentiate people from the ever-persecuted Jews, we don’t know 🤔
