10% would be 3.05, an easy figure for everyone to do in their head, and the rest can be extrapolated from there.
People, learn your Math! they pocket this for themselves !! to make up for tips they don't get !
as soon as I saw the percentages are wrong there tip would be to not try and rip people off.
so the staff gets a few more dollars who cares the tip system needs to go away
I really don't look. If I think they are good I pay them a good tip.
Be sure to do your own math. If you have to, use your phone.
Sam & Luca been doing for years nobody does anything about
Thank you. I’m sure I have fallen for it
dont be lazy, do your own math
Just divide the total by 5 🤣
give $35 and call it a day
all of its wrong. wtf.
another words use cash
both are morons
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
wow
And they tried to include the taxes in those tips too
10% is plenty...unless bad service..then a penny..
20% is $6.11, not $6.10. Your math needs work. 🙂
20% is actually 7.32 18% is 6.59 16% 5.86
TIP ISN'T REQUIRED
Well yall are cheap just say that. I pay 10$ tip for 2 drinks I never pull my calculator out and do the math we all can do that I just put the amount and that’s it. Just cause you teach math don’t mean anything but I guess that means your cheap . Maybe a teacher makes sense
Good service you get 10% bad service you get squat
tipping has evolved from a gratuity to an obscene surcharge.
perfect example of yall fighting each other and not the people who set this up. Just pay your employees!!!!
restaurants need to pay their workers.
they are putting tax on your tips
They should be fined for doing things like that!
😆😆😆I worked at a restaurant and this is right.. they make their own percentage up.. always leave cash tips😆😆
you are getting 10 percent. thats all, and please keep our glasses full. if that's a problem, cool, idc unless you are tipping meter readers UPS/Amazon Drivers, or lineman when they restore your power. I'm literally only obligated today for the food and drinks I could leave nothing
By looking at the comments debating on how to do 4th grade math, I have concluded this wasn’t malicious by the restaurant. Rather, on average we as a society suck at math. I am an engineer because eye kan’t spel.
since when is 10% not the standard and 15% for exceptional service 🥺 been that way for 50 %2B years but now all of a sudden it's 16-20 % ...
Restaurants are pricing their servers out of tips. I was a bartender and server for 15 years.
Yeah and we all have smart phones just ask Siri or google and it will tell u also
My tips are performance based at restaurants. Just like the strip club.
That’s exactly why I always leave cash tip
your cheap
Funny since person made a point of writing "I do math" and then gets it wrong 😂🤣 20% of 30.53 is 6.106 or 6.11 for 2 places...Guess you forgot rounding in your elementary math class 🤣😂
never tip, it's a scam
I just move the decimal point to the left 1 time, and determine how much I'll add to it depending on the service.
I work for #IslandSpiceGrillAndLoungeInEdgewoodMaryland I took 10% of our credit card tips for us to receive our tips when they’re only being charged 4.5 then when I called them out on it, they lowered it to six still a federal crime and they owe a lot of money a lot of money back
When did 10% tip go away? They bring your meal and a drink and spend less than 45 seconds at your table and expect a 20 $ tip on a hundred dollar meal? That's too much for the minimum effort and actually working 5 minutes total .
because you tip on the full amount, before your coupon discounts. server still did the work, clowns.
Depends on the service
I tip according to service
😭😭😭
Here's a tip, don't tip!
I’m simply scribbling all that shit out and fixing the total to &30.53 as it should be
where is this at
I double the tax
Some places add a tip 🤔
