Absolutely you should be able to carry or own a gun to protect yourself. I am a nonviolent female senior citizen that lives alone. I unfortunately had a firearm in my house, the Feds were informed, and i got sentenced to two years for "felon in possession of a firearm". I loaned a friend some money and was given the gun to hold as collateral. Needless to say he lost his gun, I lost the money he owed me, and I lost the best job I ever had. Very unfair. I am a law abiding citizen and have been for years but because someone hated on me and set me up to fall by notifying the law. so unfair.

Yes! Mistakes are inevitable especially when you鈥檙e constantly profiled and treated guilty before you even know what you鈥檙e up against. If you do your time and learn from said mistakes, especially non violent crimes. Probation, relocation, rehabilitation and conditional rights should be available for protection. People change their behaviors and actions then why not even consider also sealing their records as to not be harassed by those that no longer protect and serve the public鈥檚 interest? Every case is different and should be handled as such. This cookie cutter, Mickey Mouse programming has gotten outta hand frfr. America has to do better for its people because we are experiments to health care systems and a basic commodity for the system to fatten up already obese Katz, we the people are waking up from the ignorance of this government that has been our owners of this slave tax bologna, stealing from us our inheritance from our ancestors social security paid in. I don鈥檛 understand 馃憤馃徏

maybe if it's a non-violent crime, 10 years without being arrested, and are drug and alcohol free, and go through a gun safety certification type class
